What's up with the hood on this tractor ????? LISTING

That is a wild new hood, but did you notice the feed back??? I can't believe that people have actually bid.

To be honest I didn't notice the bids - - - I was transfixed on that hood !!! I still can't figure out what it is. Surely it's something they are doing in-house to set themselves apart from the standard Jinma look ....... Well they certainly did! /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I drove by this dealer last summer. It is definatley a custom design hood. the tractor is the same under the fiberglass. I think this is the 4th hood design I have seen on the 200 series Jinmas, (not counting the square steel original).

I have been selling at eBay since 1997 and believe it or not my feedback was once (0) also. It's now something like 14,000+ so I whouldn't shy away from a dealer who has low feedback.

I would however insist on the use of an escrow service to pay for any large purchase. The bidder sends the cash to the escrow, and if the item meets the description then the escrow service forwards the cash to the seller. No money changes hands until the buyer sees the goods first. If the product was not as described the funds are returned to the bidder. It's win, win for everybody if all details are worked out in advance.

I maybe spoke a little quick on the feed back, I do agree that escrow would be the way to go. I would just make sure that you use your escrow service, and not one suggested by a someone with no feedback. I am not putting down ebay or people with 0 feedback, I do realize that all of us in the ebay community have to start somewhere.
