Another Culvert Installation

The two culvert pics are of a culvert we put in on a snowmobile trail that withstood a beaverdam failure located 1000 feet in elevation above the culvert, with only a few headwall rocks dislodged.

I was surprised at how big that culvert is compared to the soil above it. I know it is only a snowmobile trail so maybe that is why. Would that design withstand having a motor vehicle or tractor drive over it?

Yep. Our operations folks drive over it often with a big NH. Lyme Timber Co. donated the culvert because it is also their ROW to the woodlot. It's surprising, but it'll support a lot of weight with that cover.
