Another computer question

Sometimes when I open a website, in the place where there should be a photo I get an empty box with a small red 'x' in the upper left corner. Is there anything I can do to make that image visable?

You probably have a javascript blocker or firewall that is interfearing with it. Try right clicking on the image area. You should see a "View Image", click that. This will often force the image to load.

Rite click on the red arrow.
In the drop down box that comes up right click on show picture.
Some times that works for me some times it don't, but it's worth a try.

Me, too. Sometimes it works for me and sometimes it doesn't.

I had already tried the right click-show picture thing w/o success. any other thoughts?

TRY this it may or may not be aplicable to you.
In Internet Explorer go to (Tools>>Internet Options>>Click The Advanced Tab>>Scroll about Half way down>>Look For HTTP 1.1 Settings, Turn these on or off depending on where yours are already set.

Thanks all. No luck yet. Guess I'll just put it under the cussedness of nature.

The curious thing is, it happens on a page where some of the photos are visible. For example, I was looking at implements at Leinbachs.com - - some of the tractor implements will display,while others just show that blank box with the little red 'x'.
