I plowed with many trucks for over 35 years. Everything from a 44 military jeep with a 5' plow to pickups, 1 1/2T stake racks, dump trucks, all the way up to an Oshkosh with wing plow. I sold my own pickup plow truck 10 years ago. I had to many people and friends who would ask me to plow then never pay. It got to be too much hassle going to small claims court for a few hundred bucks. Still have a pickup but no plow. That's why I have my tractor, loader, snow pusher blade. Now when people call for plowing I tell them I don't have a plow truck anymore but do have a tractor. About halfway through the season after they have stuck some other guy for non payment they call me to bring the tractor to move their snow. I give them a price and tell them they have to pay cash up front or the tractor doesn't move. I get paid every time now. I'll really enjoy the heated cab this coming winter.
