In my area I have seen a lot of anhydrous applicators around and I was wondering if they were a good investment? I already have a 60' sprayer but I was just wondering if if the anhydrous applicator was any different and/or better?

Personally I wouldn't apply anhydrous, but that is just my opinion.

How many acres of corn do you grow? A sprayer and an anhydrous applicator (or 28 percent applicator) are totally different operations.

400 acres. But we rotate corn and soybeans and every once and a while wheat.

With 400 acres of corn, it is certainly worth penciling out. Probably about 50-50 around here, anhydrous or 28 percent. Easier to store 28, but nice to ship the anhydrous tanks back to the coop when finished and don't have the responsibility of them sitting around. Good luck.
