Years ago I had a 45 acp 1911 I never used a tool to strip it down to clean it just push a button and the slide came out and the mag.
that's not what we are talking about.. the bullet button is specifically so you can get the 'fixed' mag out.
essentially they dinked with the ar mag release so it isn't an easy out and change affair. that or flipping the upper open.. etc..
