Alternator Toast?

Was replacing the crappy factory battery cable fitting (+) and I reversed the polarity for a split sec (what a ditz). The Tractor is dead electrically. All fuses intact, swapped the starter relay with the headlight relay, battery is good. Can’t find any other fuses, etc. I‘m thinking the momentary polarity reversal did the alternator in.
Any other ideas out there besides pulling the alt and bench testing it?
BTW, I have already fallen on my sword over this——

That’s on list for tomorrow. Of course the Owners Manual has no mention of either.

Does your manual have a wiring diagram? Look near the battery/alternator. Or, look for a big red wire, not battery cable size, but a big red that is before the fuse boxes.

Look at the big lug on the starter solenoid where the positive cable from the battery connects. Follow the smaller red wire from that....maybe a 60A slow blow fuse.
