Alternator needed for TS1910

I am in need of an alternator for my TS1910. I have charging the battery whenever I have not been using the tractor for the past six months but would like to get this alternator replaced now.

Also, I have a large relay under the dash that is closing as soon as the battery is connected. Looks like a silver box just under the center of the dash. Any idea what this is?

I haven't had much time lately to troubleshoot this and I am still able to use the tractor as long as the battery is charged. Figured I should get it running perfectly before spring.

Forget the OEM alternator, its too expensive. Use a GM single wire with integrated regulator. They're plentiful, cheap and easy. Any automotive electrical rebuilder can hook you up tell you how to install it.

What are the other 2 wires for on my OEM alternator for? Is there a manual for the TS2200 that may show the wiring?
