I like how everyone is saying only $400-500 like it's not twice as much money AND twice as much work. I didn't even pay for my 12 or 14ga wiring because i had it, and i paid <$20 for a motor reversing switch. So, my total outlay was around $240 and zip-tieing some highly flexible wire and drilling one hole for a nice switch mounting is a tad easier than adding a hydraulic circuit of pretty much any kind.

And that's why im so disappointed that the electric-over-hydraulic isnt more widely avaiable in more variety of sizing. I dont think the one im using is really correctly sized for the grapple application, but to me it still bears consideration. If there was a cylinder available that was more properly sized (mostly a thicker rod diameter to hold up to accidental forces from the loader hydraulics into the grapple lid) id be even more positive on the idea.

Im not saying it's a great fantastic thing, but at half the price and effort, it's doing a lot more than half the job in my case.
