Alternate location for the 425 bucket control

I was using a PT 425 today with the bucket attachment and found the forward/aft control, (under dash on right), to be very awkward.

Has anyone come up with a better solution for this?

Yes Moss that is my tractor now and I really wouldn’t attempt to be without that modification. With out it how would you Curl the mini hoe and lift and or tilt at the same time? If one couldn’t do this the hoe would be less effective. It changes one handed one at a time operation into two hands same time together. I probable have 40 hours in on the hoe and its much more gooder better this way.

Jim,

I did a very similar modification to my 1845 as NJBILL did and find it much easier to use those attachments that use the aux hyd circuit.

I have also considered adding a dual circuit diverter valve so that I can leave the Quick Attach cylinder hooked up all the time and just activate the diverter to reduce the number of hose interchanges when swapping out attachments.

Neither would be hard to do and will enhance the opperating efficency of your machine.
