Alright, Who all will confess?

Guilty as charged. I weeded my flower bed in front of the house with the backhoe. My wife said she was so embarassed because of what the neighbors would think. She thought I looked like a big redneck. My take on it was my neighbors were on thier hands and knees sweating and working hard. I didn't break a sweat and had a cold beer. I would say they were probably a little jealous. If it can not be done from the tractor seat then it does not need to be done. :p

Guilty :
In fact I've been tempted to get one out and go for a ride across the place lately.
Haven't gotten any seat time for about a month and a half.

I have even been known to involve others in my joyrides...

Good stuff. I like the above quote the best.

Back in the 50's (before my time) my Dad had an excavating business. The story goes my Mom told my Dad to clean the snow off the front sidewalk. He fired up his Michigan end loader and cleared the snow.

Guilty.

I've dug holes with my BH and refilled em with the FEL, just because I could.

Me too. I once did a 'how deep does my Woods 9000 BH go...really' experiment in my back yard (for no good reason). It was quite the hole. Just a CH over 8 feet, BTW.

If we learn from professional ball players who get millions they practice a lot and play or work little. But due to the practice they are great when they work or play ball for real.

So driving the tractor is practice which helps when you are in need of ability in real work.
But there are always property lines to check, tracks to follow and check for damage, need to check how wet or how dry a certain place is and yes safety issue here maybe a grandchild that needs to learn how to operate a machine safely. My favorite is the last one. My 6 year old grandson at age 4 was right good at steering one due to hours in open field. He was better with real tractor than battery model. :)

One time when my kids were teens and just learning to drive. And they "needed' the vehicles more than me, I had to go to town for a few things and stop to see my parents so off I went on the tractor. About 40 mile round trip. Found me quite a few things on the road side that you wouldn't see driving.
Guilty also

I do, but not as much as I used to when I had my Cub Cadet...that thing was very hard to get stuck...of course, when I did get stuck, the mud/water was up the seat. Good thing the CC was a piece of crap anyway, or else I might have felt bad. :D:p
