Allis Chalmers 5030 clutch problem

I have a Allis Chalmers 5030 that I am having a clutch problem with or at least I think it's a clutch problem. I just changed the clutch out and it still will not shift into gear. The clutch parts I took out didn't look to be worn either. The clutch adjustment is all the way out but it still won't engage. It's like a part is missing or something, but everything went back together the way it came out. Does anyone have any idea's need help.
