Allis 5015 pricing?

I'm looking at an Allis Chalmers 5015, 3 cylinder diesel, 1750 hours, in nice shape. Has a full hyrdraulic blade. I'm wondering what it's worth. The dealer is asking 3500.

One quick thing I want to make you aware of with this tractor is the degree to which parts are tough to find - this series of tractor is mechanically identical to the massey ferg 1010 compact tractor - they were built under contract for Agco by the hinomoto company of japan, which owned the toyosha engine company. you may find that the engine is stamped 'toyosha'. anyhow, these are excellent tractors, but the mother company is out of business, and parts are getting a bit tricky to find. Now I am not talking about filters and hoses etc- that stuff is easy. I am refering to proprietary stuff like the hourmeter cable (prone to breaking and hard to find) clutch hardware, steering parts and the like. There are salvage yards, and using the grey market forum parts can often be found - but expensive.

I want to make you aware of this, since some people buy these tractors assuming it is an allis or massey, and that parts will be easy to find locally.

Thanks for the tip. Yeah, I had found some info elsewhere about someone who had a big problem finding a water pump, and paid dearly when he did find one. The dealer that has it sold it originally, and they claim to have no problem getting parts, but I agree, it's a big drawback.

I thought about it and decided to stop kidding myself, what I really want is a kioti ck25, kubota 2610, or something that sized with a FEL. I think the hinmoto/Allis is just too small to do much of what I'd want to do with it.

Just a thought but it may be worth checking out the CK30. I don't believe there is a huge difference in price and it's the same size tractor. Just more HP!!
