And welcome to the wonderful world of welding. That was a very smart move as far as the pliers go. Even the very best pliers and clamps can be ruined by the heat and splatter of welding. I keep two types of pliers and clamps. One for welding, the other for everything else.

This "world of welding" is starting to get fun! I've got several projects on the agenda. I've used those HF pliers half a dozen times and so far so good! I'll be using them again this weekend when I weld a receiver tube on my bucket.
