Agriboss 600 UTV

Anybody know anything about these UTV's? Where they're manufactured, are they sold elsewhere under another name and are they well built and reliable?

It ticks most of the boxes for me except for the lack of a diesel engine.
They're listed on Ebay at a "Buy it now" price of $AU10,499.00 where a diesel/4WD Gator, Mule or MF are around $AU 18 - 20K.

I quite like the manual trans as I suspect it will perform reliably longer than a variable vee trans and expect replacing the belt or pulleys would be pricey.
Any comments?

China is my guess. The tractors look like re-badged Fotons and Jinmas, so the UTVs, and everything else on their site are probably sourced from China too.

Thanks Heywood.

I mailed the agent, they think the engine might be a Suzuki under license - no diesel available.

However, to my surprise, they did reply that they'd sell it without an engine for $AU8000.00 (with was 10,499.00). I'm now considering fitting a diesel myself.

Now I need to know how the engine is coupled to the clutch and gearbox? The agent says they've sold none into South Australia, so I can't look at one.

Intend to mail the agent again and hopefully learn a little more.

What do they get for the Kubota RTV over there ? Diesel and hydro pretty darn nice right out of the box !

They are definately Chinese. I use to have a website bookmarked of an exporter that handled these. They even have some that look like old Army Jeeps.

At the last field days I attended I think they were asking around $AU20,000+ GST (10% but can be claimed back).

The floor height on these is rather high and would be rather tiresome on work where you need to mount and dismount a lot.
