I have found all the filters I need at NAPA except for the trans filter, MF wants 28.00 for it, but if I could find a Wix or something of same quality would be great. I cannot seem to cross it anywhere. Is this one of those pieces that has to be from the dealer still?

We've all been there... unfortunately, that's the way it is.:p

Be careful with that one. My dealer told me when I bought it not to use anything but agco for the hydrostatic filter. Said he had sold one to a guy who did and it trashed the hydro. I believe he said the warranty was void as well. I understand your desire to go NAPA in WV. Sometimes it's easier to go to the local NAPA/video store/gas station/tanning parlor/pizza place/sears/post office. Lol

The description says "filter charger" don't know what "charger" means, but sounds important!

Wonder who makes the filters for MF anyhow?

I use a WIX #57089 on my GC2400. At my 250hr service I'll probably switch to the Baldwin #BT8902.

How often are you guys changing hydraulic filters?

Seems silly to me to save a few bucks on something that gets changed every 300 hours and put on an aftermarket filter. Different if it was 30 years old or something.

hey guys, i'm a homeowner with a gc2310 and I love it and my mf dealer has been great helping me move another tractor and implements from my father-in-law's estate. But I just changed all fluids and filters on my tractor and was okay with the pricing til I hit the hydraulic filter (and transmission). It was over 35 dollars...but the first time I wanted to go with the dealer recommendation....I know stuff has gone up but this much for a filter...I'm looking for a replacement myself. Any news since everyone's last post?
