Aerator, how much is this worth???

I found a local aerator that seems interesting. It's not 100%, will need some TLC and a set of plug tines/spoons (Hardened Aerator Plugger Spoons orTines).

I've not seen it as it's ~50 miles away. The top link mount (by tie wrap) seems weak but it might look different in person. Plus the link needs an adapter. Seems like it would fit my needs though...

So, how much would you spend?
Anyone familiar with this brand?

250-350 would be the max if you plan on upgrading the 3 point and adding new spoons/cores. Ken Sweet

Agreed. The higher end units cut plugs and pops them out. The style pictured would cut a slice which really is compacting the edges of the slice and often considered less effective.

Depending what you want to aerate I suggest you look for a used Aerway. The shatter tynes and adjustable roller angle means you can adapt it to several soil and pasture types. I have one and use it to condition horse pasture. In drought years our pasture remains green and weed free pretty much because the air and moisture can get to the roots. The device you picture above does not look for for purpose to me. Not worth any price really. My $0.02.

I have never seen one like that. It's almost a dethatcher. I had a Big TORO unit, with the plug type arrangement and had to get rid of it because the stones around here were destroying it.

Didn't CUSHMAN make all kinds of motorized scooters, 3 wheel carts, 4 wheel carts, golf course maintenance equipment, etc...?
