As an update to this thread, after much research and consideration, I took the plunge today and bought a new Kubota SVL90-2 and Ground Shark Extreme. They won't have the shatter proof glass installed until Thursday, so I won't be able to try it out until this weekend. The local Kubota dealer has been great to deal with on my tractors, and they just opened a new location within 10 miles from my land.

I don't even have the machine yet and already have a friend's father in law wanting to know what my hourly rate and minimum is going to be, and ironically, the salesman told me that was going to happen.

Congratulations on the purchase. I am interested in hearing how that combination will work for you.

I had some fun over the weekend getting acquainted with my machine, and I love it. Problem now is that it started raining Sunday evening and is supposed to continue for the next several days, and that's got me at a complete standstill. I have several more days of work on my place here, a creek bank clearing project for my brother, and at least a month of work on my place in OK, and now it's started raining in OK too. Oh well, when it finally dries out the fun will continue.

That's what I have, and no, the debris pretty much all goes forward or stays under the deck.

What's the hydraulic flow rate of your backhoe?

PRETTY MUCH being key. I wouldn't even consider putting on something without a cab and lexan windshield. It's not everyday, but large chunks of wood, metal T-post, rocks, etc will fly out the front, hit a tree, and come right back at you. You may go a long time and it not happen, but it only takes once.

I agree that I wouldn't use a brush mower without a cab and shatter proof glass which mine has, so what's your point?
