I am using a lap top running Windows 7 premium and my browser is Google Chrome.

I don't know, but sure looks like advertisement to me.

Lose the Goggle first off. All they do is track you and sell your browsing habits. Secondly, get an ad blocker, lots of good, free ones on the net. Brave don't track. DDG does limited tracking.

Yep, even labeled Ad at the top.

I run Firefox on Win7 with Adblocker Ultimate, and I never see ads anywhere.

OK fixed it. Apparently I had some incorrect settings on the ad blocker. Got it sorted out now.

I guess it has nothing to do with Google Chrome, other than the ad blocker is extension add on to Chrome.

So the ad's have been there all along, but I had never seen them until yesterday.

I think if you are not a member, or not signed in the ads show up there.

I am a member (20+ years) and ads have shown up...
Just installed an ad blocker...removed the ads. Just need to determine if there were any unintended consequences

If you are seeing the post and can respond to post, then you are good.

Some new outlets will required you to turn off you ad blocker, but you should be able to just turn it off for just that site.
