Does anyone know how to adjust the Governor on a 1992 model Kubota M4030su 49hp tractor(or if it can be adjusted). I am turning a Winco 25kW PTO Generator and when my home ac unit(5 Ton Trane heat pump) tries to start, it boggs the tractor engine down (the governor doesn't kick in). The gen. is hard wired with #4 THHN wire to the transfer switch. Winco said that I needed 2hp per kW so the tractor should run it but it doesn't seem like the governor is kicking in when it is needed. I've turned a 4 ton grinder/mixer with it fully loaded and grinding without any problem with this tractor (and I understand that this was a gradual loading on the engine). Any advice would be greatly appreciated as Summer is just around the corner here in Louisiana and i'm trying to get ready for the hurricanes and 106 degree days!! Thank You

I figure that you are at your max or just beyond!

It might be good to be sure you have what you should before fiddlin!
