What's up guys, I need you knowledge on if I can take some of the play out of the steering wheel. It's on a Ford 2000 with power steering. Seems like a lot of play, thought I'd adjust while I have it apart. Also will I have to bleed the air out because I've replaced all the lines to the resiviour and I've had the resiviour off and apart to clean. Sorry for the spelling my spell check isn't working. Thanks

Put these questions on the Ford forum and Sound Guy will find them. Don't give up so easy.

Bleeding generally consists of turning the wheel back and forth going to each end of the wheel travel multiple times. That may get some of the play out if its being caused by air pockets. Otherwise, you will need to watch and see where the play is being introduced.

Steering "play" is most often due to worn steering linkage parts like rod ends, king pins, etc
