Another harrow design... This looks pretty good. Has anyone tried this? Even if not, what do you think of the design?

What exactly do you use yours for? I guess you own a farm so there are likely lots of uses for you.

Pasture maintanence. Break up manure. Dethatch. Cover seed. Uncover more rocks (!) Smooth and level. Clear dropped hay. I have about 60 acres so a 10 foot wide one that can adjust down to 6 sounds nice....

Except, I don't have one, yet. I want it for behind my tractor or a gator.

Don't get too serious about that "farm" word...

I have a 4 foot one from Loyal-Roth that I bought at Tractor Supply that I like.

I realized that I didn't need a 4 foot wide 8 foot long drag harrow so I welded some pipe and some bar stock on the ends and made it 8 foot wide and 4 foot long.

=)

The one I have has 3 positions, upside down for manure breakup and smoothing, forward for light digging, backward for heavier digging. Like I said, I like it real well.
