Additive for ULSD gas...

I've never had a problem with slime in the fuel until a few weeks ago. The fuel filter on my '59 White w/220 Cummins clogged up. When I changed the filter I saw a slimy residue on top of the spin-on filter. I went to Truck Parts World and got a bottle of FPPF biocide and dosed the fuel tank on the truck, my small bulk tank and the tank on my John Deere tractor.

I guess I'm just used to saying "gas" because I go to the "gas" station to fill up, whether it's with gasoline or diesel. I never considered that there might be a misunderstanding because that's just the way I've used the terms, guess I'll have to think before I post again that not everyone uses the same terminology as I'm used to using.
I apologize to everyone that has offered tips for any misunderstanding I caused.

Forget Powerservice, look for Howes - a far superior product.

Neither one of them does anything for microbes which was OP's concern. They do other things but not that.

Power service does make a biocide but it is not the bottle you see at all the stores that everyone generically refers to as "Power Service".
