Bought a MT2501FD. Had it checked out and its a good strong motor and the rest is in good enough shape to justify some time/money.
One thing it could really use is power steering. I see after market kits and I know the MT2501 has factory PS on some models. Any idea which way forward would be best ? Replace with MT parts or add a kit ?
It's a beast to turn with a full bucket. I plan to add a box blade and replace the front tires (automobile tires now ?) with tractor tires hoping that will help, but I have lots of FEL work to do and PS would be the best solution.
Thoughts ?
