I have a KUBOTA B8200 with a KUBOTA BF300 loader. I want to add a hydraulic plow. I know very little about hydraulics but have been told I can simply unhook my bucket's dump/curl lines and use these to feed fluid to the plows cylinders.
My concern is the fel cylinders are double acting giving me 4 lines versus the two lines on the plow. I have looked at third functions and diverter valves but have been told I don't need all that since I wont have to use dump/curl while the plow is mounted.
Any suggestions? And I should mention ,I have more time than money right now.

The valve will see the two SA (single acting) cylinders as one DA (dual acting) cylinder. Your FEL only has two hoses feeding your dump/curl cylinders from the valve (not four) and they are Tee'd to the two cylinders. So, yes you can simply unhook the lines and plug in your plow, but being able to adjust the tilt of the blade is very helpful especially when stacking snow-otherwise the plow face will be facing the sky.

There are tons of threads on this if you search, its discussed every year. Also do some reading about crossover relief valves, they can protect your plow, loader, hoses, and valve from damage if you hit something.

Thanks for the reply KennyD. The plow came with the crossover so that's covered.I have a 5 foot blower for the tractor too so the plow will only be used on lighter snowfalls.I'm hoping the fixed tilt of the blade will be sufficient considering that.

If you plan to attach the plow to the bucket or a ssqa plate you cannot use the curl function as you will still need that for the loader control.

Only way to re-use curl function is if you have a pin-on pucket that you plan to remove and hook the plow to the loader arms.

Kenny is right about the use though. Since things are tee'd, you can plug the hoses for 1 cylinder, and house the other two.

I would question the crossover as well. What kind of plow is it? Most people asking these questions are converting truck plows. And those have crossover protection in the pump, which you wouldn't be using.

If I were hooking one up, I'd use the PB off the loader valve and get a separate valve to control plow angle.

I built a quick attach plow for my tractor from an old pickup plow, and I have two hoses running from my rear hydraulics next to my rear PTO to the front of the loader. I use the loader control for up and down, and to angle the plow forward and back, and the rear hydraulics to move the plow left and right. Plus if I ever get a grapple, I will be set for that too.

My plow is a Worksaver that replaces the bucket ,attaching to the loader arms.To properly install it the plate is to sit level with the ground.I should have posted that at first , sorry for the confusion.
