Adding pipe to 72" Mahindra blade..

First picture is of a piece I had left over from adding a pipe to my 78" blower. Second is the new 2" schedule 80 pipe I have to cut to length [ comes in 9' lengths for about $95 at the local machine shop ] and widen out to fit.... Don't know if I will get to welding the tabs on and painting it today... but will update pictures when I get it on.... I have some other stuff going on and need to do some cleaning/arranging before I can fire up the welder.....

Widened out the slot a little and drove it on with a sledge. Decided to not put tabs on this time and just tack welded it in place. Tabs allow you to unbolt it and take it off but get in the way of cleaning snow off the blade all winter long. I have yet to take a pipe off a blade or blower, but this one will probably be the one.... I will add tabs if I have to take it off. I will be adding removable wings to this to make a snow pusher later this fall... but I have other mods to the tractor that are higher priority...
