tlbuser, i'd have a hard time reversing the setup because of all the hoses, but a different valve/single spool could work ,you'd have to eyeball the setup on the tractor to really tell

I only need an additional one and was thinking more in the way of a tee or a 3 port diverter valve (I don’t know what a diverter valve is).

Tlbuser, can you elaborate on the use of an electric hydraulic switch? Would this accomplish my needs?

The short version, quite a few people use something like the W.R. Long kit http://www.wrlonginc.com/photogallery/Mahindra ML112 2.JPG to get an extra set of remotes. Same function, but it's operated electrically by a switch that most prefer to mount on the loader joystick.

They're fairly pricey too. neighborhood of $500.00 plus installation.

For your application, you might be able to just use a proportional flow divider

or maybe better yet a push/pull selector http://www.hydraulic-supply.com/pdf/927.pdf

Ok, thought there must have been something I couldn't "see" from the picture.
Have you had a chance to use the set-up much and get a feel for how well it's working?

it works great.Push lever forward bucket opens, pull it close's.Much easer than the rear remote lever that changes each time you connect the hoses

jpm, I don’t foresee needing the rear auxiliary hydraulic other than the current use for the power angle blade or a possibly future grapple. I think I want to stay away from an electric hydraulic switch.

tlbuser, the push/pull selector was what I envisioned for my needs. If I understand correctly, I would pull to open and it would automatically close upon release. This may be one to many things to do as I am also jumping off the tractor to maneuver the backhoe. Now the proportional flow divider… I like that, and it would serve my needs of being able to duck and tuck the backhoe and while simultaneously backing into the garage it would allow me to angle the blade as necessary.

Thanks for the help.

I finally changed the rest of the hoses because i've got the hose and bracket hung up on a rock and put a pin hole in the hose. A word of note the hyd fitting at the bulkhead is british pipe of all things,if you need this hose do not expect to find it to easy.there was only 6 in the NAPA north east system I now have 4 of them;)

But they have it and can get it to you in a hurry and it will be done right. They are located near Philadelphia so even overnighting it is no issue.
