I want to add an aux cooler to my L4330 tractor with the V2203-MA-E-GST engine.
I *assume* that the cab version of this tractor has a cab heater and I further *assume* that the heater uses engine coolant to provide the heat, just like any other vehicle on the road.
But, for the life of me, I can't find the heater coolant ports on the engine that would provide the coolant. I did find parts diagram #N11500 Heater Hose (Cab Type) on the Messicks site, but I can't make heards or tails of it other than the heater hose(s) are +$150.
Has anyone done this before? Anyone here have the cab version of this tractor and could look and tell me where the dang ports are?
Has anyone ever added a coolant aux cooler to their tractor? If so, how did you connect to the coolant system?
I have a coolant hose leak right now, so the tractor is going to be down until the radiator hoses arrive. I thought I'd do this mod while I'm waiting for hoses.
The aux cooler I'll be using is the Hayden 457 oil cooler. I've had this since around 1986 or so and it's been on several vehicles, usually as an oil or tranny fluid cooler. It's last use was for a wort cooler for when I brewed beer back in the early 2010s. Hayden Fluid Coolers 457 - Free Shipping on Orders Over $99 at Summit Racing
Thanks,
