I would go with the Chrysler style in Cowboy's 2nd pic (the radio in the middle). They mount with two screws on the corners and work pretty well. I bet a trip to the local bone yard would have you set up for about $20 and you would be able to cut out a good chunk of the wiring harness to take with you. I just pitched two of them (sorry) but I would definitely go that route vs the older traditional units that mount via the tuning and volume posts.

Thanks, but I think it's too big. I'll have to measure the opening, but it looks like today's typical small slender opening for a radio.

I have a line on an AM/FM/CD from a guy I do a little work for here & there.

If it falls through, I may get back to Cowboy357 for one of the smaller units.
