Adding a winch to 7 ton trailer

I ended up with a new Warn M12000, thanks for the input folks. It's a heavy son of a gun! Now to work on a spot to mount it.

I have a Warn M12000 mounted on the big bumper on my truck.

I have a 4000# Warn winch mounted on my Polaris XP700 Ranger.

I have a 4000# Warn winch mounted on my custom built Log Arch.

I have a 3000# Warn winch mounted on my XP700 Ranger.

I have a old Warn #8000 winch mounted on the front of my general purpose gooseneck trailer.

But I won't share what brand I lean toward.

I like worm gear drive winches because they are simple, serviceable, and quite bulletproof. The downside is that they are heavy and slow.
