adding a mower to my XN08 Chinese 1-ton mini-X

I recently finished adapting a gasoline-powered push mower to my 7yo mini-X.

I picked up a free old mower, with a flathead Tecumseh engine. Runs fine.

It is a deluxe big wheel lawnmower with 5hp engine that has pressurized lube system. Huge rear-discharge, which I placed in the forward direction.

I would love to see someone chop up a battery-powered mower for this application, but they are not cheap, even used. Plus, you want a steel chassis, so you can weld up your frame. Being able to start/stop it remotely would be very nice.

I still need to get a new fuel cap (old one eaten in half by rats), plus a new carb.

That may be the optimal way of adding a mower because there aren't that many small gas engine mowers with pressurized lubrication. I don't think the electric mowers would cut as well.

Thanks for looking. This approach helps a lot with blackberry brambles, and poison oak. Both are dodgy efforts with a weed whacker.
