adding a mid PTO

I currently have a 2001 4510 with 460 FEL. I would like to be able to mow with this tractor using a mid mount mower. Is it possible or feasible to add a mid pto and a mid mount mower like the 72" 7 iron? I would like the MMM over a 3pth finish mower or gang mower.

What about finding a MMM that uses the rear pto?

It appears the mid-PTO is a dealer installed item on the 4410's. Unfortunately, it appears the 4510 has been discontinued (at least on the Deere web site).
So, ask your local Deere dealer. It lloks like the kit should go for about $400 plus installation.

Now, that MMM will probably cost close to 3 grand.

It shouldn't be hard to locate one, a lot of the midmount mowers used to be rear PTO mounts.

Hmm didnt know that something like that existed. THat would probably be the easiest way to go. What would do the lifting of the mower deck?
