At this point, updating from IE 9 would be highly recommended from a security perspective. If you need to keep IE at version 9 for some reason (like a site that requires it), might I suggest installing Firefox or Chrome and using that for your general internet browsing, then reserving IE9 for the few sites that may require it?I am using IE 9. I guess Ill have to update to avoid this issue?

If you do that, also install the AdBlock Plus addon for Firefox or Chrome and you will have a much more ad free browsing experience.

Firefox does not block ads by itself, you need an adblocker add on (such as AdBlockPlus) to block themI am not sure if Firefox is the way to go either. I have been getting a lot of ads on firefox as well. I am currently using Safari.
