Hope I'm not being a pest but I'm getting to know my Kioti and I keep coming up with questions.
I noticed when I test drove the tractor (I ran it through every gear, both forward and reverse) the shuttle shifter would grind a bit if I did not come to a complete stop. When I pointed this out the seller (even though I know better) told me "that's how they all are" and "it's been that way since he bought it" That second phrase seemed to be his go to comment whenever I pointed anything out. Anyway I could see that the clutch peddle needed to be adjusted (it has close to 2" free play) so I reasoned maybe the adjustment would stop the shuttle shift grind. I also read up on quality trans fluid as being able to cure the same. I do not have a TSC store here in Oregon, least ways not from what I can tell on their dealer look up page. So what other Hy/Trans fluid is recommended. I'd like to start there since it would be a good idea to drain and change before I do much tractor work.
I've read that Costco even sells some that many feel is as good as some of the others but not the big brand name stuff.
