Ability to climb and descend steep grades.

To give you some more info, this afternoon I checked the grade on the steepest part of my trails. Looks like 24 degrees or 45% grade.
Its in the middle of the woods and is usually covered with dense leaf litter so traction is not great but I've never had any issues getting up with the RTV.

Note: I use low and stand on the rear dif lock when going up just in case.

I went out and measured the steepest hill I could find which was 20 degrees and climbed it with my 2wd mule. There is a steeper hill at my neighbors which I have also climbed with my mule. I don't recommend you get a 2wd, but most people give a 4wd too much praise. Some people will lead you to believe a 4wd can climb Mount Everest, but a 2wd will get stuck in the yard. That being said a 4wd will out perform a 2wd, but aren't invincible. I have had a 4wd stuck far more because they will go anywhere. Right? I stay away from mud on the 2wd.

Just hook up some oxygen bottles ( for you and the engine) and you will be good to go.

Of course my Teryx has a bigger motor, so just put it in neutral, and I'll pull.

The side by side I have used is a two wheel drive gator... it does ok... the weak link is going down my slopes there is not enough braking with only the rear wheels... have not tried it at the ranch... terrain my BX maneuvers with easy stumps the 2wd gator.

There is a large retailer in the next city... will try to get over there is week...
