Tractor
Main: Case 235
My wife is on the tractor cutting the front pasture, while I am inside putting up mini blinds. Isn't there some law prohibiting a situation like this?

JazzDad - Please no more posts like this. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif These must be carefully hidden. We don't want more wives getting such silly notions. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Come to think of it, she went out there not long after getting off the internet...

Sounds familiar...
Our neighbor asks me to do a little brush hogging for him - my wife speaks up & volunteers to go do this though I know that the original plan was for her to get the laundry caught up. Well I say that I'll do the tractoring. She asks why... & I say that I "just like to & want to do it". She gets upset saying that I don't think that she can do it /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
She loves to take on any & all physical challenges being a former college athlete herself...
I appreciate all of her mowing help on the tractor, but she's learned that tractoring is much funner than doing laundry - which I knew a long time ago. I sure hope that I don't end up doing laundry in order to "keep the peace" /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

well see you guys must have done somethign wrong, I keep trying to PUSH mine onto the tractor, telling her I need help that its too hard for me to get on and off and do the physical labor part needed to go with the tractoring, and she won't get on thinking it is too difficult /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif but then I bought a gear drive as I'm sure if it was hydro she would TRY and then she would know how much FUN it is. errr how much WORK it is doing such things! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

My suggestion? Just go with the flow. My wife and I have no "gender specific" tasks around our home, and it works well for us. Added advantage is that when it come time to purchase that additional implement, there's a meeting of the minds, and no major obstacles.

Hope you're not too close to Lee County we don't need that here. What's next?
uh... ohh should we be expecting a post from JazzMom? /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

And another thing, don't even suggest a pictorial on extreme needlepoint. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Jazzdad, (Jazzmom if your reading)

You can always change implements and store it with the box blade on it. This way, if she wants to mow, tell her if she can change out the blade for the mower, to have fun.
This is unless of course, you really don't like her to take away your seat time... Jazzdad, it is awfully hot out there and I would gladly let her have some seat time. Heck, if she likes it that much, come on over and I'll let her mow some of my pasture (if she can do so safely).
PS, How's the house building coming along?

Hey, Kyle. Long time...

I just posted the latest over on CBN. And how are your house plans coming? Have the material costs leveled off? (They should be now -my house is nearly done. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif)

JazzMom is probably on the computer more than me, so when she is not at work she does not want to look into a CRT.
