a stand for a HD kingkutter cat1 /cat2 3 point trailer mover

Hi I have a HD 3 point trailer mover, and look for ideas on a stand for it ,when I'm not using it . it weighs 180 lbs my new Jd 3 point don't go to the ground like my 870 JD I have a land pride QH15 speed hitch on the new one any ideas would be great thanks Mark

All you need is treated 4x4's, lag bolts and a saw. Build stand under it while attached to tractor with 3pt in center position. Keep adding 4x4's in layers for desired height. Flipping unit over and adding deck boards will help keep 4x4's sinking into dirt over time. Treated 2x lumber may be cheaper than deck boards.


Not that heavy but why pick them out of ground when you want to use them.

Had similar issues with a 500-600 pound ballast box, just built a pallet large enough to be stable and high enough I could engauge/disengage the QH "hooks"....

Do you have PT wood available in your area? Lot's of places seem to be out.

Maybe supply issues are starting to recover, bought mine at local Menard's (east central Illinois).

Maybe if you offer to pay in US coins they will find some lumber as coins are now running out for some reason.:confused2:
