A little while ago, I watched the start of the Nascar 600. The famous, "Gentlemen, start your engines!" came from troops in Iraq.

The general who served as Grand Marshall, however, reminded everyone that on Monday afternoon at 3PM, there will be a minute of silence in memory of all those who have given their lives for us.

I'm going to make sure I'm not driving, or something, so I will have the opportunity to participate.
