Stopped at the dealer on Thursday. Barely a Kubota to be found. Seems that demand has been so high that just about everything on the lot is sold, and orders are backed up for 1-2 months from what I understand. About 8-12 2910's and L series units are sitting with sold tags waiting for loaders, mowers, etc., but thats it other than a lonesome bx22 waiting to be delivered. The showroom is almost bare. The side of the lot is full of trade- ins. I suggested they have a salvage sale, as most are old lawn tractors.
Pretty slim pickin's out there.

I guess the sadness depends on your perspective. The high demand for new Kubotas increases the value of the Kubotas we now have. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Probably true, but even with short supply of tractors, the 0% financing is so appealing, I think most folks will keep looking until they find a new one like they want (or close at least) and buy that rather than purchasing a used one from me or you. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

I am in the waiting crowd. Bought over a month ago, thought I'd get the one on the lot, but I said I wasn't in a real big hurry, so here I wait. Was told they are waiting on a FEL for the 7800 I ordered. I am chomping at the bit. Have 40 yards of crush, logs and brush to move and the lawn is starting to come up. I am dissapointed to say the least. I am tempted to say the heck with it, but I know I can really use it once I get it and if I go with a Kioti or such I am sure I will face the same wait. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Oh well, today I will take the snowblower of the Sears 18.5Hp and put on the lawnmower and be grateful for what God has given to us - but boy I wish I had the 7800. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Tell your dealer you will take a 2910 for the price of the 7800. Or go to another dealer. I was at a dealer in Orange county south of Los Angeles and he had one of each on the lot ready to go. The shortage must be East of the Rockies.

A sad SIGHT (I cannot spell either)----dealers here have lot's of units. Saw the new L series--totally awesome. Not to start the brand wars but Kubota's new L series is dang awesome and that is all I can say. I would not even bother looking at anything else in that range. J

Yup..lots of dealers run short this time of year. It seems like most of their business comes in April thru June on the compact tractors. If a person can plan ahead and buy in the Fall, the prices are usually better. I got my 2910 and implements last Sept. for almost $1000 less than the same items would have cost me in May. I stopped by the local dealer for another oil filter a few days ago, and noticed he had 4 2910's in stock...said he had to turn away so many sales last year that he loaded up this year.
