A Question for Those Who Made their own Toothbar

Duncan, thanks for solving the mystery. The particular size teeth (weld-on part) I bought already had holes in them for roll pins. The larger ones had only the dimples you spoke of. I think all the teeth (replaceable part) had holes, regardless of size. I was wondering why the holes and dimples didn't line up with each other. Didn't realize they could be fastened via crimping the tooth into the dimple......................chim

I just made one for my BX. I picked up an old grader blade at the county road shop (free), and cut it to fit my bucket. The angle was a great match. Then I welded the tooth shanks to the grader blade section. There were four holes already punched in the grader blade, so I only had to drill my bucket. Works great, and easy on/easy off. I purchased the shanks & replaceable teeth from Carver. Only change I made in the teeth was the pins. I didn't like the knock-in pins Carver supplied, so I went with linch pins.
