Got a sunny dry day so I put on the chains.

I don't even consider plowing until there is at least 8" on the ground and it's still snowing. I have no problems getting out my mile long driveway with my 4WD truck. Besides - unplowed driveway tends to discourage snoopers.

Last two winters - I've not had to plow even once.
