a few problems with MF 231s

First off my 3 point lift will not lower. Hydralic fluid level looks fine. any ideas

Second prob is sometimes when you turn the key it will not crank. You have to do it about 3 or 4 times before it engages. Is there some kind of safety switch. Light come on it just want turn engine over

I have the same tractor. I had an issue with the key switch turning that caused an issue with starting, also move your transfer shifter to ensure it is hitting neutral.

For the lift, there may be an issue with the draft control. Pull the manual for that one.

Just realized this wasn't a recent post. If that tractor hasn't been running by now it is probably burnt.
