a decent drivetrain for tractor

I have been looking for parts to build my own tractor, I've been looking around and found an old cj jeep with a four cylinder 4wd and a second shifter for deep reduction I think. I believe some cutting and welding and some choice words it would be just what the doctor ordered. I was going to fab a fel and a hitch on rear.
btw, I live on 4 acres of wooded land with a creek and been looking for a excuse to use my tools. Any ideas would help!

I'd keep the Jeep intact and find another driveline. There are so few of those old soldiers left in salvageable condition it's a pity to cut it up...

I have thought about restoring it myself but the body is so bad I put my foot through the floor pan and the gas tank under the driver seat rusted through including everthing under it. I was amazed the engine turned over when I whent to go look at it. I'm going to let it sit until spring, if its still there then it will go under the knife or saw.
