If you install the manual shut off valve similar to photo I posted then OEM heater control valve can be as temperamental as my ex-wife & it won't matter, the hot coolant flow will be stopped before it gets to heater core!

Just wanted to let you know that since replacement of the valve I've been running around all day in 100 degree weather and been nice and cool. Thanks for the help.
