...a keychain-type...I was referring to the factory supplied pins with a separate circular wire slip on retainer. You separate the overlapping ends of this separate wire and insert one end in to the hole drilled at the end of the actual pin, fun with gloves on. Whew...Then you rotate the circular wire until it passes the over-lap. Re: Lynch-pins...I love them if my wife doesn't "borrow" them for her horse carts etc.

I am still not sure what you mean but I think I know what ball lock pins are. A picture is worth a thousand words. But generally it sounds like you used ball lock pins to replace what originally came on your 4200. I have been astonished at how many pins and clips brush strips from my tractor. I have come to believe that it is just the cost of bushhogging./w3tcompact/icons/hmm.gif
