2.5 acres of mowing + 3 more for someone else = 5.5 acres to mow weekly-which is an awful lot of time in the seat. Now if you are retired and need some good excuse to stay out of the house and out of someone else's hair, then go with the
BX2360. If, on the other hand, you have a regular job and time actually matters to you, the BX is
NOT the machine you need. Now I have a BX and love it,
because it is a multi-purpose machine, which is what I need. For your purposes, an F series is the only answer. You said you need to tow a seeder and an aerator. Some will jump up and say, "You need a 3ph for that," but actually, you don't. These are not ground engaging implements. They are lightweight tow behinds whose attachment points are typically designed for ATVs or lawn tractors. An F series Kubota has two holes in the rear facing portion of the frame (what one might call the rear bumper). It would be very easy to fabricate a little attachment frame that would bolt right into those two holes and pull those lightweight tag alongs.
Talk to your dealer about the F series. Find out where you can test drive one. Look for front machines being used in parks or on golf courses and observe what voracious mowers they are and how fine of a cut they leave. If you do not need a multi-purpose machine, ignore all the visual propaganda being plastered by others on the thread. I am a loyal BX owner, but your needs do not call for a BX, they call for an F.
