A awd all-wheel steer mower?

Clearly spelled out on the Deere website in the description of each model.

I was in the field and on my phone and couldn't navigate JD's web page worth a hoot. I'm now and will check it from here.

You used to be able to get AWD, AWS, and a diesel, but apparently it was too much for Mother Deere to continue offering such a unicorn.

I had heard somewhere that the diesel, AWD, and AWS all put it over the weight limit for needing ROPS so they stopped models like the x749. When a nice used x749 came up for sale, I talked my dad into getting it. It handles his steep hills like a billy goat.

I had a 2wheel drive tractor and never will again. Some people's yards really are on hills. Our yard is not all that large and have junk in it, so 40" or less is good.

Oh well, today we stoped at our JD dleaer and didn't learn anything good. On Monday I'll stop at the Husqvarna store and see if we can even get some parts for ours..
