That is one sweet tractor you bought. I hope you have many productive years with your machine. Gotta love Yanmar.

Looks great. How many hours on her? She looks new. I don't know what your property is like, but it may be worth getting a ROP installed.

Good luck

Joe

Thanks. She has 50 hours since full rebuild and paint. The land is near lubbock, TX so the biggest hill is a ditch. I am looking at ROP but manly for shade.

Nice rig! I can tell you from experience, the 50s are tough as nails! Mine isn't that shiney these days.
I'm having paint envy. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I've had my 950 for about 3 years now and love it. Get a ROPS. Even a ditch under the wrong conditions can be all it takes to roll it over. Not worth the chance. I bought my ROPS from the local Deere dealer (about $300 if I remember right) and put it on myself. Not too big a deal.

I was thinking that it looked in excellant shape for the years of the 950's.
Congratulations, that sure is a nice looking machine. There are days that I miss mine, seeing as how it was my first tractor. I still see it occasionally, I dropped my snow plow off at the local welders ( he bought my 950 ) the other day and I was ably to visit it.
My 950 came with a ROPS, so I was assuming that it came from the factory that way, but now after reading where some of you had to add the ROPS, maybe they weren't factory installed. Maybe the original owners of mine, had it installed after the fact.
