Carl,

I know you are putting about 33 HP into the deck, but what is your blade tip speed or spindle rpm.

And what is the length of the blades. They have to be around 30 in, but I believe they overlap, so might be longer.

My blades are 11" total each I can measure but how my mowers gets 90 inches is a mystery to me.

6 blades X 11" - the distance from center of hole to closest edge of blade + distance between mounting holes on hubs X 3 - the distance between center line of hubs + the third full moon of a season with 4 full moons - one dead chicken = 90"

My fault, I should have asked from edge to edge or tip to tip from one blade set.

But, anyway, you need the radius from blade set to compute the blade tip speed in fps if the blade lengths are the same.

That is because you are using a certain diameter hub to turn those blades.
