That snow wolf site gave me some ideas than is rusty.

Cj, 30 inch deep or tall?

Sorry missed this, From memory [which is getting sad!] It is 30" deep and 34" tall.

I'm thinking the same thing, I'm lost here, are those two last pics the final outcome now,
or are you modifying this again? As it is now, it seems that when the plow is sitting, like in the pic, thats the way it should plow but when you raise it, like noted, the plow pins will raise and change the geometry of the plow. A picture with the plow "on" the tractor would have helped more.
I'm sure you'll figure it out.

Those pictures were version 1.0. I cut off those brackets and mounted the plow right on the front of the plate for version 20. Now I'm making a snow pusher which is almost done. I'll get some pics up when I get it looking a lil more purty.

Cool, I look forward to the outcome.

Hmm, I would have thought rev2-20 might work better. Can't beat a pusher though for clean up. Looking forward to pics.

20151002_155513.jpg Well here it is. I'm not a painter for the record! The color was just what i had in excess in the garage rattle cans. The bits of black is the rust converter showing through. It actually looks kind of small on the tractor compared to the commercial pushers that I have seen. It will be at least another month or possibly two before we get enough snow to try it out on. Looking back at the moment I think the only additional thing I would change besides the size would potentially be figuring out how to make it float in a couple different directions. I was mainly worried about the durability and keeping the box as close to the front axle as possible as that was one of the things I hated about the power angle plow set up.

Ok I found the original mounting pics. Here is one that shows what I started with.20141130_114858.jpg

I was constantly having problems getting the plow to follow the driveway contours. If the loader was to low the frame would bottom out, if it was to high, the plow would trip very easily.

Looks good! Debating this myself as we get onto the land next year. Can't really afford a blower, so I was thinking about a plow or box like you did. We have a 1300' driveway!

If you are moving to central NY and can't afford a blower......you may want to think about a light materials bucket and a rear blade.I lived and worked there for ten + years and you can't believe how much it can snow there.LAKE EFFECTS can measure by the FOOT.

I have a long driveway with a very large parking area around 200x250 so it should be a good test. I actually think I could push a bigger box with my machine but without trying it out I'm not to sure yet. Since I have a nice bank that drops off the sidesof the lot and a 13 foot high reach I don't think running out of room to put snow will ever be a concern. A blower big enough to make worth while would likely be cost prohibitive and significantly slower than the pusher at this point.
